4、Drucker- The functions of a manager

Management process into 5 categories:

Setting objectives for the organisation

Organising the work needed to achieve these objectives

5、Mintzberg- The role of manager

Classified the manager roles into three broad categories:

Interpersonal : Based on manager's formal authority or position

Information : Based on managers' access to:Upward and downward channels and external contacts

Decisional : Based on the manager's formal authority allow him to take decisions
