根据题目中“an entry on the credit side of the cash book for the purchase of some machinery 18000 had not been posted to the plant and machinery account”这句话意思是在现金账簿中购买18000的固定资产记录在贷方但是没有记录到Plant and machinery账户中，我们本身购买固定资产的分录为Dr plant and machinery 18K Cr cash 18K 这里贷方记录了借方没记，因此要补记借方但是贷方已经记录所以我们要Dr plant and machinery 18K cr suspense account 18K 这里答案错误应该选C
