CFA考试机考分为两场进行。一级考试包含180道选择题，每场时长135分钟。两场考试之间有非强制休息时间。考生必须完整参加两场考试才能取得考试成绩。

第1场（2小时15分钟）：90道选择题，涵盖4个科目：道德和职业标准、定量方法、经济学、财务报表分析。

第2场（2小时15分钟）：90道选择题，涵盖6个科目：企业发行人、权益投资、固定收益、衍生品、另类投资、投资组合管理。

CFA一级考试的每个选择题题目包含一个问题、题目陈述和/或表格以及三个选项（A、B、C）。
